Application icon does not have all recommended sizes

Description

Application executable icon group does not provide all recommended icon sizes (16x16, 32x32, 48x48, 256x256). This will make icon scaling imperfect in Windows Explorer and other file information viewers.

Mitigation

Make sure you include the recommended sizes in the application icon (16x16, 32x32, 48x48, 256x256). See the official Microsoft guide which lists these sizes.

This rule has the following output arguments:

  • icon - Icon resource ID or name
  • width - Missing width
  • height - Missing height
