High resolution application icon have low bit count

Description

Application executable icon group provides a higher resolution icon, which lacks a higher bit count image (recommended bit count: 32 bits). This will make icon visual appearance worse in Windows Explorer and other file information viewers.

Mitigation

Make sure you include the higher bit count icons to the application icon group.

This rule has the following output arguments:

  • icon - Icon resource ID or name
  • width - Icon width
  • height - Icon height
  • bit_count - Recommended icon bit count
